We've all got to start somewhere - and the stock category isn't any different.
A lot of us get into stock as a casual hobby... before it starts to take over your life and suddenly you consider selling your organs for that prettiful dress or kick-ass prop collection on ebay!
A lot of artists don't get to see the 'beginning' of a stock artists' gallery when they first start out, so here's a flashback on some kickass stockers we have in Stock Art today

Lastly, some of these images are not 'the first of the lot' from these stockers' galleries. Beware of stock gallery culls, my friends. If you like something - save it. Most stockers tend to go through periods where they cull 'old' stock from their galleries to make way for new material.
And Remember:
The increase in quality you witness but may not realise when you watch a stocker is not only due to the time they spend trying to improve to make their stock more useable... its also thanks to the donations of the kind and generous artists on this site to help buy better equipment, backdrops, costumes and other such fancy stuff we wouldn't normally be able to buy.
So thank you to the artists for supporting the stockiliciously deviant stockers on this site and thank you to the stockers for doing what you do in such a joygasmic way.

Soooo... hiiii
fierystock (https://www.deviantart.com/fierystock)
I'm back and I've moved :P
I'm still not going to fill foot-fetish/dead andor suicide/shower andor bath/etc requests so don't bother asking.
For those wondering, I made a new account to start fresh. I want to keep this one open to be a constant reminder of what not to do.
What not to do? Get too involved.
I'm on here very rarely for that exact reason. Those that I have been friends with know where to find me on facebook if they want to be social with me - I'm trying to keep that separate from dA. dA + socialising + me = bad mojo.
fierystock (https://www.deviantart.com/fierystock) - I'm not the dA soldier I once was so let's just pretend this is some
I'm not going away just yet...
PROTEST
Its been 2 weeks so far. No response. Not even a PEEP as to whether or not exclusive stocks or password protected packs are/will be allowed on deviantART.
We've had offers for free webhosting to put a 'request passworded stock' website up. Needless to say - many of us are already thinking of it in a serious way if dA doesn't start listening to one of their biggest galleries.

PROTEST
If you would like to show the admins just how many of us want stockers to be allowed to upload password protected or exclusive stock, comment. I'd like to put your avatar in my journal and get a list of supporters.
Don't be afraid to have your say or even just tell me ' put my avatar up there' or 'I support this'.

READ BELOW FOR FIRST SUBMISSION OF THIS JOURNAL. I'm adding more in this first section.
FAQ #809: https://www.deviantart.com/help/809 - What are DeviantArt's stock image guidelines?
See that part that says 'No webcam/cellphone photos allowed in stock'?
So here's the thing. I've obviously been reported for posting my ACTUAL stock in the stock gallery.
I reported a blurry, sepia-toned, pixellated and SMALL photo taken from a webcam (the artist even admitted to it being a webcam shot) for going against the FAQ listed above.
It gets marked INVALID and kept in the stock gallery.
So I reported it again, this time quoting the FAQ, and once again it gets marked invalid.
So tell me, dA staff (whoever you may be) - do
